Is this program right for my child and my family?
This program may be right for your family if:
I don't speak French. How will this work for our family?
Mamie will provide resources and strategies to support your child’s second language acquisition at home with non-French speaking parents. This scenario is true for the majority of families within public school French Immersion and does not present a hindrance to children flourishing in two languages.
Why is the program only Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 12:00pm?
We realize that not all families can facilitate this schedule for practical reasons. However, C’est La Joie Academy follows a three-hour school window based on these benefits for the child and the family:

- Students can focus more deeply on their learning opportunities in concentrated amounts of time and are better prepared to focus when it counts.
- More precious time with family.
- More sleep at both ends of the day. A well-rested student is poised to learn, with improved executive and cognitive functioning.
- Less time lost on classroom management and transitions.
